2010 has been a busy year for us at Mary's Restaurant. We acquired Kokopelli Golf Course in Marion, and now have opened Koko's Restaurant there.  Our Bed and Breakfast next door to Mary's has become a popular spot for those looking for a retreat from every day life.  We have been fortunate to make friends from all over the United States and Southern Illinois, as well as New Zealand!  Yes, Mary's Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful place to stop for a night of rest while traveling on, but we have those who hail from closer to home as well.  The reviews left in our coffee-table journal tell us that many will fondly remember the down comforter and Egyptian cotton sheets, some extol the virtues of our beautiful tub with air jets, while others commend us on the delicious breakfast that we make to order.  Whether they were brought to our door by the Internet, the good comments of a friend, or for a repeat visit, all who leave there assure us they will be back!  Keep our place in mind for out-of-town relatives, newly-wed couples, or as the place to celebrate your own anniversary, complete with dinner at Mary's.  We can personalize your stay with packages that can include massage, salon services, or even fresh flowers and wine. And now with our acquisition of Kokopelli, we can also offer golf packages to our B&B guests.

Thanksgiving is two weeks away, and Christmas parties begin at Mary's the following week.  There is no place like Mary's at Christmas! Outside will look like a fairyland, and inside the sights and smells are reminiscent of Christmases past. The mantels will sparkle with candles and lights.  The stockings will hang on the Library fireplace, and with a tree in every room, the magic of the season is inescapable! Book your Christmas party soon to get the time and date you prefer.  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all our friends and customers!
